Eden for who?

In Chapter 28 things take a turn, and it would not seem it is for the better. The early part of the chapter it feels like the Author is referencing another very well known story. What is it?

How would you describe Spaz's demeanor in as he sits with Bean. How does his current personality compare with the Spaz we first met?

In Chapter 29 Lanaya gives an impassioned speech. How does what she say show how her thinking has changed since Spaz first met her by the 'mall'?

The other Proovs seem unmoved by her speech. Why do you think that is? What does this mean for Bean, Spaz, and Ryter?

We knew good things were probably going to come to an end but it was sad to see it happen just as Spaz seemed to be feeling so good. I am sure the worry about having to leave Eden was always there, but Ben and I talked about how much more relaxed and happy he has become. He was always angry early in the book and now he only speaks kindly of Ryter. (Anyone notice that he has not had a seizure since Ryter rescued him as he was leaving the latch.)

It is likely that he is headed back to the latch. I wonder if he is just going to revert to his old self or if he will have some of Ryter’s optimism to help him not feel so badly about things. I hope so.

I wonder where Bean will end up. Will they be able to stay together?

I think the way Lanaya changed is big. She started off not caring about Spaz or the normals, and she acted like they were helpless. Now, she thinks differently. She see’s that normals are unique, in ways the Proov’s aren’t. But the Proov’s disagree.

I think the reason that all Proov’s ran out of the stadium is because of how they looked. Look at what they said. ”There ugly! There Hideous! There stupid! There NORMAL!” I would say that means they don’t like how they look, so they shouldn’t be there. Honestly!

This is what I think for Spaz, Wryter, and Bean: Bye-bye! They are going to go back to the latches, and Little face will still be in Eden, with Jin and Bree. Little face seems lucky, because of the trouble the others are going to get in.
